Yes — 811 (Lone Star 811 in Texas) is required by law and free for the public utilities they cover. We're the second call. Public locators only mark utilities up to the meter or property line. Anything past that — service feeds to outbuildings, pool circuits, irrigation, septic, irrigation laterals, private water wells — is the property owner's responsibility, and that's what we locate.

On metallic and traceable utilities, our electromagnetic locates are typically accurate to within ±10% of depth. GPR scans provide a depth estimate at every mark, with accuracy depending on soil conditions. Every job is documented with photos and reference measurements so the marks are reproducible.

We're based in Tyler, TX and routinely cover Smith, Gregg, Harrison, Cherokee, Rusk, Henderson, Anderson, Wood, Upshur, Marion, Cass, Bowie, Nacogdoches, and Angelina counties. We mobilize statewide for large or repeat work — travel outside the core area is included in your written quote.

Electromagnetic locators need a conductor to trace. Ground penetrating radar doesn't — it images PVC and clay pipe, abandoned lines with no tracer wire, underground storage tanks, septic components, old foundations, and voids. We run GPR on every locate to fill the gaps, and offer it as a standalone survey for tank searches, sinkhole investigation, and cemetery work.

Yes. We carry general liability with errors & omissions coverage specific to utility locating. Certificates of insurance are available on request — name your project as additional insured if your contract requires it.
